Is Jess Moloney Intending To Claim Jamie Bower Was Abusive?
Over the last months, weeks, and days, to be honest, she's really ramping up this activity, Jess Moloney has been posting epic amounts of DV and SA awareness in her Instagram stories. However, this all started in an interview in 2024 where Jess implied that Jamie was abusive to her without really saying that he was abusive to her. I know that's confusing but I intend to explain what I mean.
For the Eyeconic Women Series that Mz. Skin does on YouTube, Jess stated that she got involved with Peace Over Violence (a domestic abuse charity) because she had first-hand experience using their services. [source]
Now, why and how does this implicate Jamie Bower? Well, Peace Over Violence is a domestic violence charity organization that operates in California. Specifically L.A. Jess didn't live in America or specifically in California until she was dating Jamie Bower. We can see that as late at 2021 she was still living in England. Jamie Bower didn't break up with his then-girlfriend, Ruby Quilter, until November of 2021. She seemed to first appear with Jamie shortly after that in early 2022. This means that she lived in England until the point where she moved to California to be with Jamie. This also means that the only person she dated within the time she was living in California is Jamie. She couldn't possibly be talking about any other relationship because if she had DV problems with anyone before this, then she'd have gotten help in England where she lived. [archive link]
**Side Note: If you are wondering how that Instagram post proves that she was still in England, it's because she is with Scotch in that post. Scotch was never seen again once she traveled to the states to be with Jamie as I talked about in this post and she would have had no reason to even be with Jamie back in August of 2021 because Jamie was still with Ruby**
The only conclusion that we can draw here (or the most reasonable one) is that Jess saying that she used Peace Over Violence and had first-hand experience with their services is because of something Jamie did. That is the implication, at least, because she was never dating anyone else in L.A when she claims to have used their services. Now, Peace Over Violence is an organization that specializes in helping women escape their abusive partners. Helps them leave safely and get protection. If Jamie really were abusive (and she really did need to use their services as she directly stated in that interview) then why did she stay with Jamie? They wouldn't have told her to stay and work it out with him they'd have helped her to leave. Which further implies that Jess was never abused by Jamie but she's holding this abuse card in her back pocket in order to threaten Jamie and say, "if you leave me I will tell people you were abusive".
This all does seem to line up, considering that there was some incident earlier in 2023 that obviously split them up and caused Jamie to distance himself from Jess. What that incident was is anyone's guess but it appears to have happened during YSL 2023. Jamie looks considerably nervous in all of the footage from that, and even if I'm wrong, after that event he stopped taking Jess anywhere. She no longer went to conventions with him. She no longer went to events with him. She was no longer able to get pictures of him to post on her Instagram account, not easily at least. Then, completely at random in 2023 (October) she gets this "certificate" from Peace Over Violence claiming that she's some sort of DV counselor or advocate or something. Though she really blows out of proportion what that certificate means in the Eyeconic Women Interview (you can see for yourself). The certificate she got qualifies her to barely do anything even though she acts like it means she's some sort of therapist. Calling people who work at Peace Over Violence "angels from the sky".
In any case, after she got this certificate, Peace over Violence never came up again. Not until it was theorized (in 2024) that Jamie broke up with her. After that point, Jess started to post tons and tons of IG stories about DV and SA awareness. Then she went to Hawaii to show off her new boob job and tattoos, but as soon as she got home she went right back to posting the DV awareness stuff. Most concerningly, her recent story (as of 5/16/2024) she went out of her way to write a caption on it:
As you can see she added the caption "Cassie saved Cassie" and a heart. This is specifically referencing the P. Diddy and Cassie trial currently going on. However, Jess still follows Diddy on Instagram as of this posting.
Given all of this information, and the fact that Jess willing follows Diddy who she's actively speaking out against by posting this sort of thing, plus everything else mentioned here that is backed by significant proof, what are we to believe? Did Jamie actually abuse her? The answer is more than likely no. The answer is more than likely that she's posting these things to imply she was abused. The answer is more than likely that she's going to come out with an abuse story about Jamie. The answer is that Jess is probably gearing up to get back at Jamie for leaving her by saying that he was abusive with the intent to destroy his career and she's been plotting this since all the way back in October of 2023, or maybe even before when they had their odd split around the time of YSL.
Am I saying that this absolutely will happen? No. I am saying that, given the evidence and behaviour from Jess herself, this is what it is all starting to look like. If she does come out in the future and make these accusations, just consider the source and consider the fact that someone else published this blog post first, predicting that it would happen and why. There's two sides to every story, and even though I can only speculate on my end, and nothing is set in stone, it's pretty obvious to me and anyone else monitoring this situation that something strange is going on here, right?
